Gwen’s first ambitious website build where she learnt her website build skills!
My Music Resource is an online e-commerce platform,
launched in October 2020, where music teachers can
sell or share their digital music resources.
Founded by Ruth Alberici and Gwen Harborne, we designed and built this dynamic platform together from scratch, with Gwen building the website and taking a lead on all technical aspects.
Janet was keen to raise her online presence and awareness of her teaching business. Her favourite colours of pink and purple have been incorporated into her business branding and website design. This makes ‘Piano With Janet’ feel truly personal to her.
Janet says:

Wendy had an already established site that was created for her many years ago, but had become difficult to manage with old technology. I built the site again from the ground up, maintaining the design and elements that Wendy liked, but making the site much easier to manage for the future.
She wanted to keep her customers updated with her news and I integrated an automatic feed from her business Facebook page so that she now only needs to write news updates in one place rather than two!
Wendy says:
“Gwen was patient and reassuring throughout her revamp of my eymg website, despite my anxiety following a bad experience with my previous website manager. She had good ideas of how to simplify and bring it up to date, such as adding a link to my Facebook page and abolishing the blog. She was confident and knowledgeable, and when problems cropped up in transferring my old email across, she found and implemented solutions with no fuss. I love the new simplified look: it’s easier for families to find their way around to book, and she has saved me extra unnecessary work. I feel happy knowing that she is easy to contact and very responsive if I need help again. Good value too!”
My own teaching website has been through many iterations. The current design is modern and sleek, but with a child-centred and friendly logo to appeal to both parents and students.
Emma needed a website built from scratch to promote her instrumental teaching business in Liverpool. We worked together to create her logo and overall website design to match her personal and business style.
